The Junior Handler Competition follows the FCI Guidelines for World and Section Junior Handling Competitions.

There will be pre-qualifying rounds for Junior Handlers (aged 10 to 17 years) during the mornings of Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th. The semifinal and final for the title of 2020 World Winner in Junior Handling will take place in the Ring of Honour during the afternoon of Sunday 26th.

The handlers participating on behalf of the kennel clubs of the different FCI countries are automatically qualified for the final and can not participate in the pre-qualifying rounds of days 24th, 25th and 26th. In order to be allowed to participate representing the kennel club of their countries, all the handlers must be authorized to do so, by sending the following Entry Form, rightly filled in and signed/stamped. Only one representative per kennel club and country is admitted and there is no fee to participate. The representative of each country must be citizen of the country he/she is going to represent.

All the Junior Handlers between 10 and 17 years of age who wish to participate can sign-up online. The price of the entry for each competition is 20€/day. After entering online, it is necessary to send the authorisation to be allowed to participate. If one of the participants manages to be qualified among the three finalists in any of the qualifying rounds, he/she will no longer be allowed to participate in the rest and will go on straight to the semifinal on Sunday, losing the right of reimbursement of the money that has been paid for the rest of the days.

Daily open competitions
Every day, the judge selects the best three of each open competition without placing them. The three junior handlers qualified from each day are qualified to participate in the semi-final to be held on Sunday afternoon.

Semi-final
The semi-final competition is arranged on the last day, just before the Final Junior Handling competition. The best five handlers qualify for the final, but no placing should be done. These five handlers will compete in the final with the representatives of the national canine organisations.
